At Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) we are an inclusive, dedicated organisation working to provide outstanding care to our entitled personnel. Are you a Band 5 Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI) looking for an exciting role, working alongside the military, which offers numerous benefits and opportunities? If the answer is yes, then we are looking to appoint a professional and patient focused individual with a strong commitment to providing a high quality service to work within our friendly and welcoming teams at the Primary Care Rehabilitation Centre (PCRF) Wittering and PCRF Kendrew Barracks. The vacant post is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. Part-time applications are welcome; however, due to service delivery requirements, any part-time arrangement must be on a job-share basis to ensure full-time coverage. Could this be the role for you? Main duties of the job

This is a new position with a dual workplace, the incumbent will be primarily employed at RAF Wittering: The role will be divided on a 60/40 split:

  • 22.5 hours at RAF Wittering (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
  • 15 hours at Kendrew Barracks (Thursday and Friday)

Working hours will fall within the PCRF opening times:

  • MondayThursday: 08:0017:00
  • Friday: 08:0015:00

The successful candidate will provide a high standard of exercise based rehabilitation including highly specialist work in the musculo-skeletal/sports and training injury area for the population at risk (PAR), meeting Standards for Better Health by using a multidisciplinary approach. You will provide a positive caring environment, in which patients can expect a high quality professional service. and provide full support to the line manager in ensuring the provision of a comprehensive and professional rehabilitation service for entitled personnel.
