Overview

The post-holder will deliver, under regular supervision, high-quality; outcome-informed, focused, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver interventions including one-one work, group work, whole class, or larger assemblies.
  • Ensure children and young people have access to timely, high quality, evidence-based mental health support.
  • Assessment and treatment in low intensity evidence-based interventions for CYP presenting with anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties.
  • Deliver whole school approaches with a strong emphasis on participation with young people, their families and carers.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP).
  • Completion of the Child and Young Person's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) course.
