Join us for an exciting locum opportunity as a Band 5 Community Nurse in Leeds, UK, with a competitive rate of £21 per hour. This block booking position is located at Chapeltown Health Centre, Spencer Place, Leeds, LS7 4BB, with shifts available 3 days a week for three months. Benefit from flexible work schedules that enable you to balance personal and professional commitments while gaining diverse experience in community nursing.

What you will do:
  • Conduct observations and perform comprehensive assessments, including falls and pressure area assessments.
  • Provide PEG care, including tube changes and balloon checks.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and care.
  • Manage urinary and colorectal care such as stoma care, manual evacuation, and catheterisation for both males and females.
  • Deliver expert wound care, from simple to complex wound management, using a variety of bandaging techniques.
  • Administer medications, including subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, immunisations, and medication through PEG/NG tubes.
  • Work collaboratively within a community setting to improve patient outcomes and deliver high-quality care.
