Job description

Are you a motivated and caring Registered Nurse based in the Kent area and passionate about the rehabilitation of the patients in your care? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our friendly and welcoming Community Nursing Team in Sheppey. Our service is highly regarded: 9 out of 10 patients recommend us. As a newly qualified nurse we offer a forward‑thinking preceptorship scheme awarded a Quality Mark, combining face‑to‑face, e‑learning and workshop based learning. This is a part‑time 30‑hour per week Band 5 Community Nurse role on a 7‑day service, working 8:00‑20:00. Example shifts are 08:00‑16:00, 09:00‑17:00 and 12:00‑20:00.

Package Description

As a Band 5 Community Nurse you will be part of a valued team based in Sheppey, delivering care to improve health outcomes. We provide at least £100,000 of ring‑fenced innovation funding each year, and the majority of our services are rated “good” or “outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission. Parking is on site and free. Tea, coffee and milk are provided at your base location.

  • Actively improve ways of working to help us change for the better.
  • Support the development of patients through the rehabilitation programme.
Key Requirements
  • Qualified Registered Nurse with an RGN qualification.
  • Licence to practise with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Confidence in using IT systems (e‑mail, record systems).
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns on a 7‑day service.
