Pulse Healthcare seeks an experienced Accredited Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join a busy Leeds-based pharmacy team. The role focuses on accurate dispensing and final accuracy checking with clinical autonomy to support patient care within a NHS environment.

The successful candidate will ensure adherence to medicines governance, work closely with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams, and maintain robust pharmacy records while supporting safe service delivery for a 3–6 month period.

Qualifications

• Current ACT qualification or documented assurance of competency.
• Proven experience in NHS or hospital pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures, medicines management and patient safety.

Responsabilités

• Undertake accredited final accuracy checking of dispensed medicines per local policies.
• Support safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services across clinical areas.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain high standards of medicines management and governance.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake accredited final accuracy checking of dispensed medicines in accordance with local policies and procedures
• Support the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services across clinical areas

Qualifications and Experience

• Current and recognised Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification or documented assurance of competency
• Proven experience working within an NHS or hospital pharmacy setting
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage workload effectively
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures, medicines management, and patient safety principles
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
