What You Will Do

• Deliver ward-based medicines management services to support high-quality patient care and optimise medication use.
• Undertake a range of duties as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to support ward-based teams.
• Support medicines optimisation initiatives, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with medicines reconciliation, helping to ensure medication records are accurate and up to date.
• Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes and effective service delivery.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in line with service requirements.
• Provide essential ward-based pharmacy support across a range of hospital services.

Requirements

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician is essential.
• Previous experience working as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician within an NHS hospital.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous Band 6 Medicines Management experience.
