Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30AM to 16:30PM or 10:00AM to 18:00PM
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with various service leads across the pharmacy departments, including the Operational Lead Technician, Specialised Pharmacy Teams, Clinical Lead Pharmacists, and Heads of Department. This role involves the provision, management, and development of pharmacy services, as well as medication safety and governance services to the Trust.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently. You will conduct accuracy checks on prescriptions to ensure they are safe for patients. You will provide advice to patients on the proper use of their medications and potential side effects. You will manage and maintain accurate records of patients’ medication histories. You will assist in the management of repeat prescriptions and medication queries. You will support the pharmacist in the delivery of pharmaceutical services. You will supervise and support other pharmacy staff, such as pharmacy assistants. You will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
