A mental health services provider in the United Kingdom is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their established team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and emotional wellbeing. Responsibilities include one-to-one and group work, delivering high-quality patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will join an already established Occupational Therapy Service, which aims to provide assessment, treatment, rehabilitation to our service users with complex needs.
Reaside Clinic is a male medium secure service providing care for service users with challenging behaviours and a range of clinical presentations. You would be working with the Occupational Therapy team to deliver one to one interventions as well as in group work and will require practical and creative skills in order to promote independence and to improve overall emotional wellbeing.
Therapeutic interventions are supported by a well equipped environment which includes a gym, kitchen, education suite, art room, gardens, woodwork shop, library, and group rooms. We have our own forensic community OT team and partnerships that support transitions out into the community.
