Job description

Main duties of the job

• Undertaking maintenance, repairs, minor improvement and capital work across the Trust as directed by management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.
• Responsible for calibration and fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment (Low Pressure Hot Water Systems, General Air Conditioning Controls and Systems, Steam Raising Plant and associated equipment, Steam Sterilisers, Medical Gas Pipe Systems and Natural Gas Systems).
• Post-holder will be required to work a split shift system and to participate in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota.
