Qualifications

  • NMC registered and committed to maintaining professional standards.
  • Previous experience in a health or social care setting, rehabilitation experience desirable.
  • Able to undertake a range of clinical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and implement care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Cope with exposure to distressing situations while maintaining professionalism.

Requirements
  • Is NMC registered and committed to maintaining professional standards
  • Has previous experience in a health or social care setting (rehabilitation experience desirable)
  • Can work well within a team but also organise their own workload without direct supervision
  • Has strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
  • Is flexible to work across a seven-day rota
  • Is competent in IT systems and willing to learn EMIS
  • Can undertake a range of clinical skills, with desirable experience in venepuncture, catheter care, stoma care, and wound management
  • Can assess patient needs and implement care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Can cope with occasional exposure to distressing or emotional situations while maintaining professionalism
