Band 3 Portering Team Leader

The closing date is 23 October 2025

Working a rotational shift pattern and responsible for the daily supervision and the efficient and effective delivery of the portering service to the standards set by the Foundation Trust. This is through the daily compilation of duty rotas and the efficient distribution of staffing resources to all areas as required. Post holder will need to ensure effective communications are maintained between the portering service, its staff and patients; leading by example to motivate the team in delivering quality standards.

Main duties of the job

To work a rotational shift pattern, to delegate daily areas of work to staff through the completion of duty allocation rosters; ensuring adequate staffing levels are provided to all areas of the Trust by the effective use of all available resources within the agreed budget.
