Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Western Health and Social Care Trust to recruit for a Band 3 administrator to join their 16+ Team based in Chapel Road

Children's & Families / 16+ Pathway Administrator

  • Location: Derry/Londonderry
  • Contract: Full-time Temporary
  • Immediate Start
  • Salary: £12.31 per hour/ Weekly Pay

Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting services that make a real difference to the lives of young people? We are seeking a committed Administrator to join our Children's & Families / 16+ Pathway Team in Derry-an essential role at the heart of a service that helps young people move confidently toward independence.

About the Role

As our 16+ Pathway Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to a busy, dynamic team. Your work will help ensure that young people, families, and professionals receive a seamless, effective service.

Responsibilities
  • Organise meetings and prepare accurate minutes when required
  • Manage filing systems and confidential records
  • Handle cash in line with established procedures (Petty Cash)
  • Support staff and young people with enquiries
  • Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to produce reports, correspondence, and documentation
  • Manage your workload efficiently, using your initiative to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Essential Qualifications & Experience

You must meet one of the following:

  • Option 1: 5 GCSEs (A-C), including English Language or equivalent qualification AND 1 year administrative/clerical experience including cash handling.
  • Option 2: NVQ Level II in Business & Administration (or equivalent) AND 1 year administrative/clerical experience including cash handling.
  • Option 3: 3 years administrative/clerical experience including cash handling.
Essential Knowledge (assessed at interview)
  • Knowledge of 16+ Services
  • Understanding of confidentiality in a professional setting
  • Familiarity with filing systems and information management.
Skills & Special Aptitudes (assessed at interview)
  • Experience arranging meetings and taking minutes
  • Confident cash-handling procedures
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Flexibility and strong time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
Interpersonal Skills (assessed at interview)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
