About the Role

At Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) we are an inclusive, dedicated organisation working to provide outstanding care to our entitled personnel. Are you a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant looking for an exciting role, working alongside the military, which offers numerous benefits and opportunities? If the answer is yes, then we are looking to appoint a professional and patient focused individual with a strong commitment to providing a high quality service to work within our friendly and welcoming team at the Aldershot Centre for Health, Aldershot. The vacant post is full‑time working 37.5 hours per week. Requests to work flexibly and/or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs.

Key Responsibilities

To support ROHT clinical staff in the care of Service Personnel (SP) receiving specialist Occupational Health (OH) interventions. The role will include case managing SP who are transitioning from service to civilian life, liaising with recovery staff who support these SP, leading or being the link for Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and equipment care. Additional skills and training can be acquired in role that will expand the Healthcare Assistants' (HCA's) scope of practice under supervision.
