Job description
Overview

The Aspen Centre is a standalone Eating Disorders unit providing in-patient and out-patient care.

Role

Team Secretary to support the clinical team - Band 3 Permanent - 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial services to the clinical and medical teams, including producing accurate letters and reports via the digital dictation system (Bighand).
  • Correspond effectively via e-mail communications, process referrals, and provide administrative support to the MDT.
  • Using the electronic patient record system (Carenotes), produce accurate data inputting and scan, print, and upload correspondence.
  • Answer complex telephone queries, respond professionally to internal and external enquiries, and exercise judgement and problem solve quickly while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Support Medical Secretaries with cover in their absence and work flexibly with admin colleagues to provide cross-cover for reception.
  • Support CWPT’s broader service delivery and contribute to a positive, patient-centred environment.

  • Experience as a secretary with strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
