Qualifications

  • You must clearly demonstrate 4 GCSEs Grades A-C (or equivalent) including English Language and at least 1 year's administrative experience.
  • Alternatively, possess NVQ Level 2 in Administration and at least 1 year's experience.
  • Or, have 2 years' administrative or clerical experience.

Salary: Band 3 £12.33 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Ulster Hospital Radiology Department
Contract: Temporary Full time

We are seeking a Band 3 Administrative & Clerical Officer to join our busy and supportive team within the Radiology, Surgery, Elective, Maternity & Paediatrics Directorate. The Role
  • Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support across Radiology, Surgery, Elective, Maternity & Paediatrics
  • Appointment Booking
  • Managing Waiting Lists and appointments
  • Manage diaries, filing systems, and office processes efficiently
  • Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines in a changing environment
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality
  • Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and external partners
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Essential Criteria
Experience / Qualifications (assessed at shortlisting)

You must clearly demonstrate ONE of the following pathways:

  • Option A:
    • 4 GCSEs Grades A-C (or equivalent) including English Language
    • PLUS at least 1 year's administrative or clerical experience
  • Option B:
    • NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent)
    • PLUS at least 1 year's administrative or clerical experience
  • Option C:
    • 2 years' administrative or clerical experience

Additionally:

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
