Job description

The successful candidates will be required to work with patients with a variety of different presentations that can include:

• Elderly frail patients who require therapy to support them to regain their independence.
• Patients who have become acutely unwell and require therapy to support their recovery.
• Patients who have fallen and may have broken bones.
• Patients following surgery, We work together, and in conjunction with MSE Health and Care Partnership, to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients in a compassionate way, and provide a respectful, but vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.

You would be required to collect basic information from patients, report to the therapist, provide equipment and work as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking to an enthusiastic individual who is keen in work in our inpatient therapy team helping patients in the acute hospital setting.

You will be joining a team who provide high quality patient focused care and will be required to work within a busy ward environment. Training for this role will be provided to support your development through supervision, competency training and in service training.
