Job overview

Weekend Hotel Services Assistant.

Saturday and Sunday (15 hours per week).

The successful post holder(s) will provide a cleaning and catering service to our Service Users, Staff and Visitors across our Wards and Departments.

You will be working as part of an established Team who provide a full Hotel Services function across the Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Cleaning- Cleaning all areas of the Hospital, including bedrooms with en-suite facilities, bathrooms, day rooms, lounges, corridors, offices and other areas of the Ward.

Catering- The preparation and service of lunch and evening meals items, the handling, reheating, and service of cook-freeze meals. Making light snacks including salads, sandwiches and beverages. Washing up and associated cleaning within the Ward kitchen and dining room.

Other duties- Handling and disposal of waste, periodic cleaning, such as carpet shampooing and curtain changing.
