A leading mental health organization in Salisbury is seeking Housekeepers to join their caring team, providing essential support to nursing staff and ensuring a safe environment for patients. Responsibilities include cleaning and meal service. The role requires a flexible attitude to adapt to ward needs and the ability to handle challenging situations. This position promotes inclusivity and diversity among applicants.
Housekeepers support the nursing staff in providing a safe and appropriate environment for patient care. Duties include general cleaning of all ward and departmental areas, as well as the preparation, presentation, and service of patients’ meals. Housekeepers are expected to demonstrate a flexible attitude to their work to meet the needs of the ward and its patients.

Our hours for morning shifts are 10:00 to 18:00.
General Hotel Services Assistants (GHSAs) are expected to support all cleaning and catering-related activities at ward level. This role involves working in an environment with frequent distractions and regular contact with service users who may display disturbed or challenging behaviour.
