A healthcare provider in Leicester is seeking a Bank Switchboard Operator to deliver a high-quality switchboard service. Responsibilities include managing a high volume of incoming calls, providing assistance to staff and the public, and handling emergency situations calmly. As a Bank Switchboard Operator you will provide a comprehensive, high quality switchboard service to patients, staff and members of the public on behalf of the Trust. Communication skills are essential as the team are usually the first point of contact for most callers. Switchboard is a very busy environment dealing with all types of calls to the Trust and often working alone.
The term 'Bank' refers to our pool of bank employees who are our temporary staffing solution, covering annual leave and sickness across our sites. Applicants are asked to bring their photo ID and right to work including proof of address to their interviews. In cases where a high volume of applications are received, the closing date may be brought forward. Therefore applicants are advised to submit their completed application form as early as possible.
