A well-established company in Dartford is seeking a Baler & Compacter Field Service Engineer to service and maintain recycling equipment. The role requires strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical principles. Candidates should have City & Guilds qualifications and experience in a similar background. Baler & Compacter Field Service Engineer, Dartford

Salary £34758 per annum + bonus OTE £45000 per annum + bonus

Full Time, Permanent

The role

You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining recycling equipment on a reactive and scheduled basis. Working towards achieving your own targets as well as customer SLA’s. Service level agreements are agreed and set with our customers and must be achieved. You will work closely with the Service Planning Supervisor, Technical Manager and Operations Director to ensure efficient and safe delivery.

About you
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Be able to understand hydraulic and electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Be able to show and apply sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic principles
  • Use and understand various electrical and hydraulic test equipment
Desirable
  • Ideally from a service engineering, electrical or hydraulic background with an ability to demonstrate the skill of fault finding and repair.
  • City & Guilds in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • 17th edition electrical regulations/City & Guilds electrical and mechanical engineering.

The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
