Job summary

The Bread Factory is seeking a dedicated warehouse operative to join our Milton Keynes team. This full-time role runs 40 hours per week, 6am–2pm, any 5 days out of 7, at Unit 11-13, Blakelands, Milton Keynes. The hourly rate is £14.30, with generous product discounts and access to a 24-hour GP service.

You will load/unload deliveries, receive goods, stock accurately, perform quality checks and work across warehouse, chiller, freezer and yard while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and accurate in handling stock.

• Able to operate and control equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
• Receive goods and complete all relevant paperwork.
• Store stock correctly and maintain stock levels.
• Support stock checks and ensure accuracy.
• Handle products to prevent damage.
• Carry out basic quality checks and report issues.
• Work across warehouse, chiller, freezer and yard.
• Keep areas clean and orderly.
• Perform daily equipment checks and charge trucks.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
