Job summary

A local recruitment agency is seeking Hygiene Operators for a temporary role in Magherafelt. The successful candidates will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with health standards. Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role and effective communication skills. The position offers a salary of £12.50 per hour for a total of 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of barrels, bins, equipment, and utensils.
• Routine cleaning of equipment and machinery in the bakery.
• Participation in non-routine manual cleaning when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy bakery environment.
• Ensure safe working practices and follow cleaning procedures.
• Complete records accurately and timely.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely in compliance with COSHH.
• Participate in relevant training as needed.
• Clean packing area floors and tables as instructed.
• Deep clean bakery areas as necessary.
• Support Improvement Programmes and meet daily KPIs.
