Greggs Bakery Assistant – Newbold

18+ years. Various shifts 5:30 am to 5:30 pm. 16 hours. Must be flexible.

We have an opportunity for a Greggs Bakery Assistant who is motivated, friendly, hands‑on and passionate about providing excellent customer service and high standards. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will assist in maximising sales and profit by carrying out allocated tasks, contributing to continuous improvement of the store and staff, and providing friendly, efficient service to customers, colleagues and visitors.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service inline with company standards.
• Prepare a variety of food items to the highest standards to meet customer demand.
• Ensure that all areas of the shop and food products are displayed in a clean, tidy and attractive manner.
• Contribute ideas for driving the business and its team forward.
• Apply relevant processes and policies to ensure the security of people, stock and cash.
• Report all customer complaints to the manager on duty.
• Comply with relevant legislation and health and food safety responsibilities as defined during induction and training.
