Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Baker to join our Bakery team, delivering a range of bakery items to high quality, including bakery-to-go for the food hall.

You will work with the restaurant team to present items to a high standard, maintain food hygiene standards, and develop knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens. A busy, friendly environment with opportunities for growth.

Formación

• Experience as a Baker with high-volume production.
• Food safety qualifications ideal.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Ability to thrive in a busy environment.

Our Bakers play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty treats, ensuring food hygiene and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing a range of our bakery items to a high quality - including bakery to go for the food hall
• Ensuring operation is compliant with statutory requirements such as health & safety and food hygiene
• Working alongside the restaurant team to ensure your customers are presented with their items to a high standard
• Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens and health & safety

• You are passionate about all things food and delivering the best possible experience for our customers
• A team player and confident communicator who is eager to learn new skills and gain new experiences
• Flourish in a busy, fast-paces environment
• Experience working as a Baker with successful delivery of production at volume
• Excellent organisation skills with enthusiasm to get things done well
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal
