Backshift Production Operator
Location: Edinburgh
Type of Job: Temporary

The client is an exciting and innovative organisation producing bespoke spirits for the UK and European markets.

The Role

This is a first-class opportunity for an experienced Production Operator. You will have a varied role and will be responsible for ensuring product throughput and quality are maintained for a range of drinks products. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and cleaning production machinery to meet company production throughput requirements
  • Monitoring and controlling the production/assembly line to ensure smooth running of production equipment
  • Ensuring production throughput meets company targets in relation to quality, delivery and cost
  • Ensuring production throughput meets company, client and regulatory requirements
  • Storing goods and raw materials safely
  • Ensuring all works are undertaken effectively and to meet all relevant Health and Safety requirements
  • Assisting all stakeholder groups in relation to company continuous improvement activities
Requirements

A highly professional, reliable and experienced Production Operator, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience undertaking a broad range of production duties within the Food or Drinks sector, previous experience within alcoholic product production would be preferred.

You will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail and will be well versed working within a small team to achieve company production requirements. The hours of work will be initially on a backshift work pattern, Monday – Friday, 4.00 – 11.30pm.

The role will commence in a temporary basis with the opportunity to transfer from a temporary to a permanent role.
