Job summary

Arjo is seeking a Medical Delivery Driver for a backshift role based in Glasgow. You will deliver and collect hospital rental equipment, log serial numbers, and drive a transit van to NHS sites across Glasgow and Lothian. The role includes on-call duties and overtime, with a 37.5 hour week from Monday to Friday.

You must hold a UK driving licence and PVG Scotland clearance; lifting bulky mattresses is required. Training is provided, and uniform plus a company van are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Enhanced PVG Scotland clearance required (at the cost of Arjo).
• Able to lift bulky mattresses for prolonged periods.
• Evenings, weekends and bank holidays may be required; on-call rota.
• Drive a transit van and plan routes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect rental equipment to NHS sites across Glasgow and Edinburgh.
• Log all serial numbers using iPad/iPhone as you work.
• Load van, assist with loading and unloading at wards.
• Backshift coverage and on-call payments for emergencies.
• Maintain safe communications with depot and hospital teams.
