Job summary

Client Server Limited in London is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and develop real-time trading systems in a hands-on role.

You will focus on C# .Net backend and API development, with occasional JavaScript/React frontend work, collaborating with the strategy team on Greenfield projects you own and see through to impact.

This is an onsite role in London with a salary up to £90k plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong C# .NET and ASP.NET development experience.
• Good knowledge of SQL and/or Oracle databases.
• Comfortable with JavaScript and React.
• Solid CS fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms.
• Collaborative with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time trading systems in a hands-on backend role.
• Collaborate with the strategy team on Greenfield projects and take ownership of components.
• Focus on backend and API development with some frontend work using JavaScript/React.

Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net) London onsite to £90k

Are you a backend focussed Software Engineer?

You could be progressing your career in a hands-on Backend Software Engineer role at a global sports trading firm.

Your role:

As a Backend Software Engineer within the trading engine team you'll collaborate to design and develop real-time trading systems, you'll often be collaborating with the strategy team on Greenfield projects which you'll take ownership of and will see the business impact of. There's a focus on backend and API development although you'll also have elements of front end work with JavaScript and React.js.

Location:

You’ll be based in plush City office on a fulltime basis, Monday to Friday.

About you:

• You have strong C# .Net, ASP.Net development experience
• You have a strong knowledge of databases (SQL or Oracle)
• You're comfortable with JavaScript / React
• You have a thorough knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Algorithms
• You are collaborative with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• You are degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
