Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience, with Ruby on Rails.
• Production-grade systems: logs, traces, metrics, feature flags, live debugging.
• Familiarity with observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, Lightstep.
• Experience with third‑party API integrations and stateful payment flows.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in CS/EE/SW/CE/MIS, CI/CD knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain features in a Ruby on Rails service for payments on the BigCommerce platform.
• Ensure production-grade functionality with tests, instrumentation, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to post‑incident reviews.
• Build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services in collaboration with product and operations.
