Job summary

JD.com invites a Java backend engineer to join our London team. You will develop and maintain transaction-related backend services using Java and Spring Boot, building core order and transaction processes.

You will ensure data consistency, reliability, and high-concurrency operation, participate in requirements, design reviews, and share best practices. Onsite in London, with English and Chinese communication required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building or maintaining core business systems.
• Experience in structured development environments.
• Awareness of data protection, security, or compliance in transaction systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large internet or e-commerce companies.
• Experience with high-reliability or transaction-intensive systems.
• Familiarity with distributed systems or service-oriented architectures.
