MCS Group is partnering with a growing Belfast tech company to recruit two Software Engineers. The role is backend‑heavy, offering work with APIs, distributed services, and cloud infrastructure in a supportive, leadership‑driven team.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of commercial experience and a genuine interest in backend engineering. You’ll join experienced engineers, mentor and be mentored, with hybrid working from Belfast and opportunities for growth.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong backend foundation with willingness to learn.
• Experience with Node.js or Python is beneficial.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, databases and cloud platforms.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain backend applications and services
• Build and integrate REST APIs
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Work with databases and data-driven applications
• Support applications running within cloud environments
• Work with containerised applications using Docker
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate with engineering, product and other teams
• Troubleshoot issues and improve performance
