A prominent gaming platform in the UK seeks a Backend Engineer to join their backend engineering team. You will work collaboratively with various teams, develop backend services and APIs, and contribute to features that impact user growth and engagement. This position requires experience with common backend languages, understanding of databases, and the ability to write efficient code. Flexible work options and a supportive company culture are part of the offering.
Location: Remote with the UK or Europe
Salary range: £50,000 - £60,000 - compensation outside the UK will be adjusted based on location.

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join our backend engineering team. You’ll be working closely with our Frontend, Product Management, Design and Digital Marketing teams, directly contributing to the backend systems that drive growth, user retention and premium conversions across Nexus Mods.
You’ll help build and improve the services that underpin our commercial and growth initiatives, such as, premium features, subscription flows, creator monetisation, account value, and engagement systems, all at a massive scale.
This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work cross-functionally to experiment, iterate, and deliver features that meaningfully impact the business.
