Job summary

Slim Chickens in Basingstoke is seeking Back of House Team Members to join our fast-paced kitchen. You’ll help prepare and cook menu items to perfection, keep the kitchen clean and compliant with safety standards, and support inventory and stock rotation to ensure ingredient freshness.

We value teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Flexible shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, are available in a welcoming, casual hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to high standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation and ingredient freshness.
• Work as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Support kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
