Overview

Lead Physiotherapist - Band 7

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Physiotherapist (Band 7) to join a specialist neurorehabilitation service supporting individuals recovering from brain injury, stroke, and spinal injury. This is a leadership role where your clinical expertise will make a life-changing difference every day.

  • Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
  • Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 (depending on experience)
  • Hours: 37.5 per week (part-time hours considered)
Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver expert care across neurorehabilitation services.
  • Manage a small caseload while overseeing physiotherapy service delivery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of OTs, SLTs, nurses, psychologists, and support staff.
  • Participate in the Key Therapist/Worker programme, ensuring personalised, client-centred care.
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and development for junior physiotherapy staff.
  • Contribute to service improvement, audits, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high professional standards.
About You
  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with a degree/diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Proven post-registration experience in neurorehabilitation or physical rehabilitation.
  • Experience in staff supervision and multidisciplinary working.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Committed to continued professional development with an up-to-date CPD portfolio.
  • Passionate about person-centred care and positive rehabilitation outcomes.
