B2B Marketing Manager

Location: Remote (Greater Manchester, UK), with future Hybrid

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

About Bordeaux & Burgundy

Bordeaux & Burgundy, headquartered in New York, is a B2B SaaS, content-first marketing firm. We work with the world’s most ambitious SaaS and technology brands. Building GTM engines, we help our clients clarify their positioning, learn their audience and generate demand through content marketing and channel distribution.

To date, we’ve driven over $10bn in acquisitions, $2bn+ in pipeline and thousands of new customers for our client brands across PropTech, FinServ and AI.

Where we stand apart from a sector increasingly dominated by volume promises and short-term tactics, is our belief that an agency partner develops B2B growth through long-term consistency – not in 5-step packages or false guarantees. We do not sell lead quotas, growth hacks, or templated playbooks. We build credible go-to-market engines designed to withstand scrutiny from founders, sales teams, and investors. We fundamentally believe in creating sustainable, compounding results over the long-term.

Today, we’re partnered with the world’s most prestigious VC/PE investor firms, government organisations, leading technology companies, and are continuously recognized by the leading industry bodies: Forbes, The Drum, Campaign, Adweek, BIMA and more. We’re known for world class marketing ideas and execution.

Our team comprises multidisciplinary B2B marketing experts. Known in their respective fields for their elite expertise and mastery of the most sophisticated GTM models you’ll find across marketing channels. To join this elite team, we now seek a B2B Content Lead. An expert representative of the firm, leading the strategy and delivery of our clients’ content marketing solutions.

The Role

This is a senior, execution‑heavy, content‑led position for a specialist who deeply understands B2B SaaS content marketing and is as comfortable creating work as they are shaping its strategy. This is not a writing‑only role. It is a content ownership position designed for a wordsmith and marketing expert who understands how to create first‑class content pieces, where those can be activated, how it might perform, and how it compounds value across a business's GTM engine.

You will spend the majority of your time ideating, creating, and refining high‑impact, GTM considered, B2B content: whitepapers, guides, blogs, eBooks, landing pages, email campaigns, paid social ads, and other long‑form narrative assets. You will also be responsible for defining content strategies for our clients, aligning messaging frameworks to ICPs, product value props, and commercial objectives.

You will be treated as the firm’s subject‑matter expert in content marketing. While you will have a team of designers and other content experts to support, you will be expected to lead client content projects with conviction, make creative decisions, and uphold an exceptionally high bar for quality, clarity, and accuracy. Your attention to detail must be absolute. Your written English must be exemplary.

This role will challenge you. It demands intellectual rigor, creative confidence, and the ability to move between brands, tones of voice, and content formats with ease. In return, you will work on some of the most sophisticated B2B SaaS GTM programmes in the market today and materially influence how category‑defining tech companies communicate.

Location & Working Pattern
  • Remote role - a hybrid model is likely to develop in Manchester as the business grows.
  • Must be based in the Greater Manchester area or commutable.
  • Regular in-person working with Manchester-based colleagues.
  • Occasional client meetings (UK, with occasional international travel).
Before You Apply

We respect your time. And once you join us, you’ll learn that we operate transparently and value getting to the point efficiently. As such…

This role is not for you, if any of these ring true:

  • You are not based in, or within commutable distance of, Greater Manchester.
  • You see yourself primarily as just a writer, rather than a content marketer that considers a content piece’s distribution and impact on a client’s GTM.
  • You have not worked in a B2B SaaS environment and are unfamiliar with complex tech products, long sales cycles, or technical, high‑IQ buyers.
  • You are uncomfortable owning content decisions or defending creative and strategic choices with logic and evidence to senior client stakeholders.
  • You must have a brief to create. In this role you’ll also need to ideate content with colleagues and align it to the client’s wider strategy.
  • You’ve previously stopped where the full‑stop ends. You should have exposure to how content works on digital platforms.
  • You find fast‑paced agency environments stressful rather than motivating.

We are being deliberately transparent and upfront here. The care we take of our team is of utmost importance to us. So every new member set to join us, is held to the same high expectations we have of one another today.

Working at Bordeaux & Burgundy

Honesty, integrity, logic and humour. If you value these in your workplace you’ll fit into our team perfectly. We take marketing very seriously and the quality of service our clients receive, even more so. But, we don’t take ourselves seriously. You’ll find no egos here.

You’ll find every team‑mate will help you with any challenge, respond quickly, treat you with respect, and help you reach your own professional goals and that of the firm.

Our average employee tenure is 2.8 years and as a 4 year old company, we’re very proud of that. Our teammates dedicate themselves to the firm because they not only own and share in our long‑term success, they are part of a game‑changing professional experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Own content marketing delivery for multiple B2B SaaS clients.
  • Develop content strategies aligned to ICPs, positioning, and GTM objectives.
  • Write and produce high‑quality long‑form and short‑form content across formats (whitepapers, blogs, guides, eBooks, ads, emails, landing pages).
  • Collaborate with GTM leads on content distribution plans across organic social, email, paid media, and owned channels.
  • Work closely with designers to craft copy for LinkedIn ads, OOH concepts, and visual‑led content assets.
  • Translate complex ideas into clear narratives using varied communication methods (written copy, diagrams, tables, structural layouts).
  • Review, refine, and execute internal and client‑led content ideas.
  • Ensure on‑page SEO best practices are embedded across all relevant content.
  • Maintain exceptionally high editorial standards across all deliverables.
  • Support agency growth through internal content initiatives.
  • Support new business pitches and proposals.
  • Communicate with clients on project delivery, their feedback and pushing approvals.
  • Co‑ordinating with the primary client manager on deliverables, deadlines and production updates.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing agency or in‑house B2B content marketing or copywriting role.
  • Significant experience creating and leading B2B SaaS content marketing programmes.
  • Expert‑level copywriting ability with mastery of written English.
  • Proven experience writing for both UK and US B2B audiences.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing best practices and channels.
  • Comfort owning content strategy as well as hands‑on content execution.
  • Ability to move confidently between different brand tones of voice and content formats.
  • Deep understanding of on‑page SEO and its practical application.
  • Strong narrative thinking and passion for storytelling grounded in ICP insight.
  • Experience collaborating closely with designers and GTM teams.

SaaS experience is strongly preferred. Exposure to FinTech, AI, and PropTech is advantageous.
