Job summary

Ryanair is seeking a B1 Licensed Engineer to join our Birmingham-based team at BHX on 2D2N and 4N rotations.

You will perform routine servicing and defect rectification on the 737-800/737-8200 fleet, support AOG recovery, and mentor junior technicians while ensuring compliance with EASA and UK CAA standards.

Qualifications

• Part-66 B1 License (Essential).
• Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement (Essential).
• Boeing 737-Max Endorsement & Recency (Desirable).
• Excellent communication skills (Essential).
• Good IT Literacy (Essential), AMOS Experience (Desirable).
• UK work eligibility to live/work in the UK and Full UK Driving Licence.
• UK CAA licences accepted; 5+ years maintenance experience and ability to complete EASA Module 9 & 10.

About the role:

We are currently seeking B1 Licensed Engineers to be based at Birmingham Airport (BHX) on 2D2N and 4N rotations.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a solid background in line maintenance.

Responsibilities – The successful candidate will report to the Station Engineer and be responsible for:

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 Fleet.
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

Requirements Qualifications and Experience:

• Part-66 B1 License holder (Essential)
• Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement (Essential)
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable – Type Courses Available).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential).
• Good IT Literacy (Essential), with AMOS Experience (Desirable).
• All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
• UK CAA Licences are accepted; however, the applicant must be able to demonstrate 5 Years Maintenance Experience and have completed, or able to complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
