Job summary

Line Up Aviation is recruiting experienced B1 Licensed Engineers to support a winter base maintenance programme at Glasgow Prestwick Airport.

You must hold a valid UK CAA B1 Licence and have recent experience on the B787 with GEnx engines or the A320neo with Pratt & Whitney engines. The contract runs November 2026 to February 2027, with 12-hour shifts (07:00-19:00) and a rate of £50 per hour outside IR35. Accommodation may be available for non-local engineers.

Qualifications

• Valid UK CAA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
• Recent aircraft maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data and procedures.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable UK CAA requirements and approved procedures.
• Complete maintenance records and technical documentation accurately.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
