Job summary

Line Up Aviation is recruiting for an experienced B1 Licensed Engineer to join the Base Maintenance team in Prestwick. The role focuses on certificating aircraft maintenance in line with licence privileges and company procedures to ensure safe and timely deliveries.

You will supervise maintenance personnel, coordinate with production and planning, and maintain accurate documentation while upholding Part 145 standards and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Current UK CAA B1 Licence holder.
• EASA B1 Licence desirable.
• At least one current type rating with six months recency in last two years on A320/A330/B737/B787.
• Previous commercial aircraft Base Maintenance experience.
• Recognised engineering apprenticeship, diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Good understanding of airworthiness regs, Part 145, MOE, MEL and related documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out certification of aircraft maintenance in accordance with licence privileges and procedures.
• Supervise personnel and coordinate with leading mechanic.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and within turnaround times.
• Identify and report technical issues affecting aircraft delivery.
• Complete accurate maintenance documentation and shift handovers.
