Job summary

A leading global aviation specialist in South East, UK, seeks a B1 / B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a driven team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, ensuring high safety standards, and mentoring mechanics. Ideal candidates will hold a UK CAA Part 66 Licence and have a solid understanding of aviation regulations with hands-on experience in maintenance. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £100,000 plus excellent benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months recent hands-on aircraft maintenance experience within the last 2 years.
  • Solid understanding of Part-M, Part-145, and related aviation regulations.
  • BD700 type rating (B1 / B2 essential).
  • Experience with Bombardier aircraft (CL350, CL604 ideal) or other business jet types.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft to the highest standards.
  • Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Performing A and D checks pre-and post-servicing.
  • Supervising and mentoring mechanics and maintenance teams.
  • Liaising with customers handling technical queries, quotes, and service requests professionally.
