B1.3 Licensed Engineer Rotorcraft

Pay: £60.00 per hour PAYE / £80.26 per hour Umbrella
Contract: 6 Months (Likely Extension)
Hours: EqualRotation - 7 ON/ 7 OFF

Arden White is proud to be partnering with a leading aviation organisation to recruit experienced B1.3 Licensed Engineers to support rotary-wing maintenance operations in Shawbury. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied Airbus helicopter fleet within a safety-focused environment, offering attractive contract rates and the potential for long-term extension.
Responsibilities
- Certifying maintenance, repair and modification work on Airbus rotorcraft, including AS350, AS355, EC135, EC145 and other variants
- Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Performing maintenance activities across airframe, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems
- Supervising and certifying the work completed by maintenance fitters and technicians
- Supporting hangar operations, including aircraft movements and general housekeeping activities
- Ensuring full compliance with UK CAA regulations, including Part 145 and Part M requirements
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation and records
Person Specification
Essential
- UK CAA/EASA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft)
- Strong technical knowledge of rotary-wing engine and airframe systems
- Previous experience within an aircraft maintenance environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance
- Eligible to obtain and maintain BPSS and Security Clearance (SC)
Desirable
- Previous rotary-wing maintenance experience
- Airbus helicopter type ratings
- Additional type training experience
- Engineers currently progressing towards their B1.3 Licence with substantial hands‑on experience will also be considered

Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week
- Typical operating hours between 07:00 and 19:00
- Potential shift pattern of 7 days on / 7 days off
- Occasional UK travel may be required to support operational requirements
Security & Compliance
Due to the nature of this position, successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain:
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
- Security Clearance (SC)
- DBS clearance
- Compliance with ITAR and applicable export control regulations
- Employment is subject to satisfactory completion of all required security screening checks.
