Job summary

2Excel Aviation Ltd is seeking a full-time B1.1/C Certifying Engineer to join our Capability Development Team in Doncaster. You will take ownership of certifying maintenance work packages and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

As the B1 Base Certifying Engineer, you will lead and supervise engineers, certify removals and installations, and support improvements within our MOE framework while upholding aviation safety culture.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted UK CAA Part-66 B1 Licence (C rating desirable).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead calmly and professionally.
• Meticulous, safety-driven approach with the ability to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Certify B1 Base and Modification work on King Air 200 and 300 aircraft
• Lead and supervise non-licensed engineers and technicians
• Carry out and certify mechanical/electrical component removals and installations
• Ensure compliance with MOE processes, procedures, ADs, SBs, and all required documentation
• Identify and report inaccuracies or gaps within maintenance data
• Provide continuous improvement feedback to the Head of Maintenance
• Support the development of junior engineers through day-to-day oversight and appraisal input
• Contribute actively to the Safety Management System and wider aviation safety culture
• Support delivery of the 2Excel Group strategic plan
