Job summary

Dunbia Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Wales to join our despatch team. The role covers storage, stock rotation, picking, packing, labeling and loading for dispatch.

Shifts include day and night patterns (4 on/4 off). The position is permanent and full-time, with benefits such as weekly pay, free car parking and opportunities for career progression within the Despatch/HSE framework.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are stored in the correct locations within the warehouse.
• Maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO).
• Monitor and control stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and delivery schedules.
• Prepare products for dispatch, including labeling, packaging, and palletizing.
• Load goods onto delivery vehicles, ensuring they are securely transported.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including PPE.
• Keep the warehouse clean and hygienic to prevent contamination.
• Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Warehouse Manager.

• Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and delivery schedules.
• Prepare products for dispatch, including labeling, packaging, and palletizing.
• Load goods onto delivery vehicles, ensuring they are securely and safely transported.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized, following strict hygiene protocols to prevent contamination.
• Regularly clean and sanitize work areas, including storage units and equipment.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Warehouse Manager immediately.

Qualifications

Reporting into the Despatch Shift Manager, the Warehouse Operative is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient packing and picking of our product before it is sent to customer. This individual will support in the development of the department and often involve coordinating with various departments to maintain a high standard of safety, efficiency, and functionality.
