Job summary

Revoco in the United Kingdom is seeking an Azure-focused Platform Engineer to deliver hands-on cloud platform work and engage directly with clients.

You will design secure Azure environments, implement IaC, collaborate with DevOps/DevSecOps, and help modernise applications while staying technically hands-on rather than selling. This role offers remote UK delivery with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong Azure platform engineering or cloud consulting experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/DevSecOps and Terraform.
• Good understanding of cloud security and governance.
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with customers.
• Experience with C# and .NET would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Azure platform and cloud/application modernisation projects.
• Designing secure Azure landing zones and cloud environments.
• Supporting Infrastructure as Code and automation initiatives.
• Working across DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Advising customers on cloud security, governance and best practice.
• Running workshops and technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Working closely with engineering teams to solve complex challenges.

We're working with a growing Azure Cloud Platform Consultancy that helps organisations modernise applications, improve cloud security and build scalable, secure platforms in Azure.

This is a hands-on consulting role, but not one where you'll spend your days producing PowerPoint decks. You'll work directly with customers, helping to design, build and improve Azure environments whilst remaining close to the technology.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• Previous software development experience (C#, .NET or similar) would be highly beneficial
• Someone who enjoys being both technical and customer-facing
• Up to £70,000 salary
