Job summary

Adria Solutions in Sheffield is seeking a skilled C# .NET Developer to join a small, collaborative engineering team. This hands-on role covers the full software lifecycle, from maintenance to new feature delivery, in a cloud-first environment.

You will build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core, with Azure App Services and Functions. The position offers flexible working arrangements and a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET, ideally .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, storage).
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team.
• Experience balancing maintenance, enhancements and new development work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services using C# and the latest .NET technologies (.NET 8, ASP.NET Core)
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs to support internal and external applications
• Work with Azure cloud services including App Services, Azure Functions, and storage solutions
• Contribute to ongoing system maintenance and new feature development
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality code independently
• Collaborate closely within a small engineering team, contributing to technical discussions and solutions
• Support continuous improvement of development practices and code quality
• Leverage modern development practices, including AI-assisted tooling where appropriate, to improve productivity and delivery speed
