Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking an Azure Architect to lead the design of enterprise-scale Azure platforms for our clients. You will work on client-facing projects and contribute toward the strategic direction of the Azure Cloud Solutions capability.

You will mentor less experienced developers, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure robust, scalable cloud architectures using Azure native services. Strong English skills and security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in C# and .NET development.
• Experience with Blazor or React UI frameworks.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Functions and Logic Apps.
• Design REST APIs and WebAPI services.
• Strong SQL Server and Cosmos DB knowledge.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of design patterns, DI and microservices.
• Desirable: Bicep or Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Desirable: Unit testing with xUnit/NUnit and Moq.
• Desirable: Mobile development with .NET MAUI.
• Desirable: GitHub Copilot and modern tooling.

As an Azure Architect, you will be part of the Azure Cloud Solutions capability and you will lead the design of enterprise scale Azure platforms for our customers. You will work on client facing projects and you will contribute towards the strategic direction of this team.

• Demonstrable development experience on Azure cloud native applications
• Security Cleared (GOV UK) or eligible for SC clearance
• Experience defining, documenting and delivering application designs
• Experience mentoring less experienced developers
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Confident in client facing and consulting situations
• Good written and spoken English
• Holding or working towards AZ-900 and AZ-204
