Job summary

Sword Group is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to deliver specialist design and architecture across landing zones, networking, identity, and VDI. The role requires hands-on Azure migration experience and collaboration with MSP and supplier teams to ensure delivery aligns with governance and standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across landing zones, networking, identity and VDI.
• Experience leading enterprise Azure migrations and working in MSP- or supplier-delivered environments.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable Azure environments aligned to policy and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist Azure design and architecture capability.
• Lead Azure landing zones, networking, identity, VDI, compute and storage within target architecture.
• Act as technical reference for MSP and supplier delivery teams and escalate architectural decisions as needed.
• Demonstrate extensive hands-on Azure experience including migrations and governance.
• Design and implement Azure security, Terraform/Bicep automation, and monitoring.
