Job summary

pcscs is seeking a Software Developer - Microsoft Azure Engineer in Swindon to design, deploy, and maintain Azure services. The role includes 3rd party provider support, cloud infra design, and performance optimization, with a focus on SQL Server and modern tooling.

The permanent position offers a 37.5 hour work week, optional remote/home working, and a competitive salary in the £34k–£44k range depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Proficient in designing and maintaining Azure cloud services.
• Experience with SQL Server and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure services
• Providing operational support for 3rd party providers
• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure and cloud services
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud and Azure related issues
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams
• Experience in querying SQL Server databases
• Knowledge of VMWare, SAN
