Job summary

Zohorecruit in Sheffield, United Kingdom, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to drive end-to-end delivery of artefacts and integrations, applying DevOps practices across the application team.

You will collaborate with ITPMs, Architects and developers, resolve blockers, and implement robust automation with Groovy, Jenkins CI/CD, Kubernetes and cloud tooling; strong communication and an Agile background are required.

Qualifications

• Must-have skills: Groovy, Jenkins CI/CD, Helm, Kubernetes, Docker, Shell scripting.
• Hands-on with Helm and Jenkins CI/CD, Kubernetes and Docker environment debugging and issue fixing.
• Ability to work independently and think outside the box.
• Developing reusable, responsive automations in Jenkins and Shell scripting.
• Nice to have knowledge of Google Cloud, AWS or Azure cloud adoption.
• Background in Agile and adoption of best practices.
• Capable of complex decisions and resolving escalations.
• Expertise with Helm and Jenkins.
• Observability stack knowledge (Grafana, Prometheus) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements with the application team and participate in requirement analysis.
• Follow internal DevOps principals.
• Coordinate with ITPMs, Architects and application team.
• Resolve all technical and process blockers.
• Be accountable for end-to-end delivery of artefacts, business logic and integrations.
• Understand complex business requirements and be able to adopt new technologies.
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Maintain Agile practices.
