Sanderson Government & Defence seeks an experienced Platform Architect to lead the design and delivery of an AWS-based platform for a major government programme. You will set platform standards, governance, and automation to enable secure migration of a large product estate.

You will work in a high-performing consultancy team, shaping cloud-native capabilities and enabling development teams through scalable services while ensuring government security and resilience requirements are met.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale AWS platforms.
• Strong understanding of multi-account strategies and cloud operating models.
• Experience designing secure landing zones and governance frameworks.
• Hands-on IaC using Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.

• Architect and deliver secure, scalable AWS platform foundations.
• Design AWS landing zones, governance frameworks, and security guardrails.
• Define golden paths and self-service capabilities for faster delivery.
• Develop platform standards and reusable infrastructure patterns.

• Collaborate with engineering, security, architecture and delivery teams.
