  • Work closely with architecture, security, and delivery teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with departmental goals
  • Be critical in supporting the migration of services, deploying new cloud-native capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence across environments
  • Maintain and evolve the department’s AWS Organisation, including SCPs, account structure, and billing controls
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to design, review, and deploy new services into AWS, ensuring alignment with architectural and security standards
  • Support on updating and modernising key infrastructure services, including patching, automation, and performance tuning
  • Support to ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Support in the monitoring and improved cost optimisation, resilience, and operational performance of cloud services
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews
  • Contribute to the cloud strategy, standards, and best practices across the department
