Job summary

IBM is hiring for the position of AWS DevOps Engineer in Greater London, UK. The role involves advancing DevOps capabilities in public sector projects, focusing on automation and optimizing software delivery. Responsibilities include managing CI/CD processes, collaborating with teams, and using tools like Terraform and Docker. Candidates should have experience in AWS and DevOps practices. Qualifications

Proven experience applying DevOps practices and building CI/CD pipelines within AWS environments.
Strong scripting skills using languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Hands-on exposure to containerisation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and how to manage workloads on the platform.
Excellent knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Experience in resolving security vulnerabilities within AWS-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting tools.
Managing log management and aggregation tools like ELK Stack or Splunk.
Applying and maintaining security best practices aligned with DevOps principles.
Implementing and supporting Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes.
